The French magazine association SPM recently produced an excellent overview of the strengths of magazines. The Mag’ Guide presents the seven key strengths: magazines are powerful (57% of all French people read a magazine every day), magazines can be tailored precisely to meet advertisers’ needs, youngsters remain important consumers of magazines, magazines are the medium for engagement, magazines deliver superior impact, advertising in magazines has proven effect on sales and, finally, the complementarity of magazines and digital in delivering ROI.
